This Lyophilization Seminar will be give prior to the Joint Lyophilization Conference 2007 being held by the International Society of Lyophilization - Freeze Drying, Inc. (Society) and the Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences Society (PHSS) of the UK in Dublin, Ireland. 50% of any profits from this seminar will be share equally with the Society and PHSS. By attending the seminar you will also be supporting two fine organizations. The seminar will take place at the Carlton Dublin Airport Hotel in Dublin, Ireland; however, for a special room rate please see terms and conditions at Hotel Registration Form.

The seminar has been revised and up-dated. It will be presented using Microsoft PowerPoint and each attendee to the seminar will receive complete set of the course notes in English. Each attendee will also receive a personal copy of the PowerPoint presentation on a CD-ROM disk. Deadline for Seminar registration is October 1, 2007

• To dispel some of the mysticism that surrounds the lyophilization process by proving an understanding of the basic fundamental principles.
• Provide a rational approach to developing a lyophilization process that is based on an understanding of the nature of the formulation rather than typical trial and error method.
• Gain a basic understanding of the principles of vacuum technology.

Who should attend

For those just entering the field of lyophilization it will provide a broad overview of the entire process and the interrelationship between the formulation, the lyophilization and the drying equipment and instrumentation. For individuals with more experience in the field of lyophilization it will broaden their depth of understanding and grasp of this very complex and often puzzling field of science. The seminar is particularly directed at those individuals responsible for developing lyophilized formulations, QA and QC personnel responsible for the lyophilized products, production personnel and members of the managerial staff.

• Accommodations: Attendees to the seminar are responsible for making their own hotel reservations and travel arrangements.
• Extended Deadline: Seminar registration is October 1, 2007.
• Cancellations: A refund less 10% service fee will be honored for registration to the seminar if written notice of the cancellation is received on or before September 14, 2007. After September 14, 2007a refund will be made less 20% of the fees. The Society and PHSS reserve the right to cancel the seminar before September 10, 2007 and in that case attendees will receive a full refund.
• Substitutions: No substitutions will be permitted prior to the start of the seminar or during the course of the seminar.
• No Shows: The attendees who sign up for the seminar and do not appear will NOT receive a refund of their fees.
• Waiting List: If you are on a waiting list for any of the above programs and no space becomes available, you will receive a full refund.

Seminar Fees

The fees for this seminar will include all coffee breaks, lunches and a complete set of the course notes in English. Each attendee will also receive a personal copy of the PowerPoint presentation on a CD-ROM disk. If you register on or before September 14, 2007 the fees will be $1,330.00 US Dollars.
