     September 16 - 19, 2003 - Lyophilization Conference 2003

It indeed is correct to call it a conference for it brings together at one place many of the leading experts from a variety of fields to share their knowledge of lyophilization and freeze drying. This is not a conference where one dwells on a single discipline but a conference involving many disciplines and it is this cross-pollination that exposes one to new approaches, new concepts that one may find applicable in their work. It is broadening the understanding of the field of lyophilization that makes this Conference so important and so effective that many who attended last years conference are anxious to attend this conference.

But to the attendee, the conference will not only give technical enlightenment but an “experience”. It is an experience because those who attend will come away with not only ideas of new approaches and perhaps answers to old questions but also memories and new friendships that will last a lifetime. That is why it is more than just a conference, it's an experience - just ask someone who attended the conference in Amsterdam what they think.
